LYDDINGTON WOMEN’S INSTITUTEThe National Federation of Women’s Institutes (NFWI) is the largest voluntary organisation for women in the UK with 205,000 members in England, Wales and the Islands. They play a unique role in providing women with educational opportunities and the chance to build new skills, to take part in a wide variety of activities and to campaign on issues that matter to them and their communities. The Lyddington Women’s Institute hold monthly meetings on the second Wednesday of each month except August. We meet at Lyddington Village Hall at 7.30 pm when we usually have a speaker or demonstration of interest. We have members from Lyddington, Seaton, Thorpe-by-Water and Harringworth. Details of meetings are displayed on the notice boards at the bus stop on Lyddington Green, at Lyddington Village Hall, the bus shelter in Seaton, and inside the White Swan Inn in Harringworth. New members are always welcome. Just come along and meet us. For further details about the NFWI see the web site www.womens-institute.org.uk |
